Seminary

The Seminary at Hashem’s House is a fully accredited seminary program leading to ordination as an interfaith minister or interfaith rabbi, ordained by the Interfaith Temple, NYC, and allowing each ordained minister or rabbi to register their ministry or rabbinate through City Hall in NYC, allowing them to practice as interfaith ministers all over the world.

The interfaith ministry program is 13 months in duration, run as a correspondence program, with an intensive in NYC at the beginning and the end of each program. It focuses on all aspects of interfaith ministry, including many world religions and faith paths, as well as many strands within the practice of ministry. Students actually author and practice ceremony and the celebration of holidays and life cycle events.

The interfaith rabbinate program is an additional 13-month program. It takes up where the first 13 months leave off, expanding one’s knowledge of Judaism and the attendance of a faith leader to Jews of all different denominations and persuasions. It focuses on Torah Study and the tenets of Judaism as they relate to a modern, complex society, reaching across all socio-economic and all cultural groups within the faith as well as the relationship of said groups to the rest of the world.

Papers, projects, journals, spiritual visitations, class attendance and presentations are all included in both sets of 13-month study.

Seminary will return sometime during 2024.  Watch for our announcement about new Interfaith Maggid course (Spiritual Storytelling) to be taught in conjunction with the Sacred Journey Interfaith Seminary, Oakland Park, Florida.
